This is Nutmeg, who just turned 14 on April 24, 2000. She lives in Weddington, North Carolina with Linda & Grady, Becky & Gary, and Alice & Jeff. A wonderful chestnut colored Golden, she is so laid back - she should have been named Molasses! Nutmeg has water skied, ridden in a dune buggy, and flown from one coast to the other. She enjoys swimming every summer, and also is the BEST puppy trainer. In fact, Nutmeg does all the HARD work of training the family's Canine Companions for Independence pups! She teaches them all the social skills they need.

Nutmeg is an avid Habitat for Humanity supporter and has worked on several blitzes in Charlotte. Nutmeg goes to "work" daily and stretches out to take her 8-5 nap as soon as she leaves the house. Boy does her family love their Nut-Meg-A-Dog!
