We believe that health issues arise from all of the heavy processing and harmful insecticides and chemical fertilizers in foods. At the Land of PureGold we only carry those treats and chews that we would allow our own dogs to eat. Chews must be natural and free-range. For that reason, the cost may be somewhat higher. But, honestly, we believe our furkids are more than worth it. They have such a limited life span with us as it is, so we figure it is the least we can do to try and extend it by providing only the best.

All dogs need to chew. Although we cannot detect any smell to shed hardened antlers, dogs have a natural prey drive that allows them to zero in on the "wild" smell. No other chew can appeal to this power of instinct except real animal bones.

Our antler chews are safe, natural, healthy, odor-free and long lasting. They are provided to us from a family owned and operated business based in Colorado, where domestic elk has been raised since 1995.  All of the antlers come from  the family's ranch raised, free-range Rocky Mountain elk.  No animals are ever harmed in the harvesting process.

No odor or residue to get on your carpet

Each year the bull elk re-grow a new set of antlers. If the antlers are not cut off, they will naturally fall off when the new set starts to grow. This hard antler is cut into pieces which make ideal "bones" for dogs to chew on.

Antlers last for months! We advocate only bite-size meat or cookie treats, especially for training, despite the size of dog. But, when it comes to bones & chews, one SUPER SIZED version honestly fits all.

We only recommend & sell chews that are thicker and thus less likely to splinter. However, depending on the aggressiveness of chewing, anything is destructible. It is always important to remember that you must supervise your dog when utilizing this, or any kind, of chew.
