Nitro Golden
Retrievers, is also a proud member of Kinzua Search Dogs. Besides her love for
Goldens, she works tirelessly in this non-profit, all volunteer group
that endeavors to locate missing persons. Based in southwestern New York, Kinzua Search
Dogs conducts searches in New York State as well as Pennsylvania.
Mary is quite proud of her first trained Search &
Rescue gal, Willow. A grand lady who is blessed with brains, beauty, bravado and bounce,
Am Can Ch Nitro's Blaze Of Glory TDI, CGC is a Golden dream come true. Currently, Mary and
hubby Butch are busy training Goldens Badger and Peaches to follow in Willow's famous
pawprints.
During Spring 2002 Mary put out a call looking for a
potential narcotics or explosives dog to train for Kinzua Search Dogs and Phillips Command
Dogs. Susan Still of Michigan's Foxboro Golden Retrievers thought she had the perfect
candidate to become a great working dog.
Well, this is the story of that guy, a 2-year-old dude
named Bubba, who upon coming to New York was considered such a sweetie that he immediately
became everyone's "Buddy." Now, get ready to follow Buddy's continuing
adventures (as told by Mom Mary) as he strives to become a true Working Dog!
