A unique blend of whimsy and elegance, Michelle's collections incorporate
watercolor depictions of topiary—living sculpture
shaped by careful pruning into a broad range of decorative items.
Living in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York, artist Michelle Masters'
love of gardening and growing things found their way
to paper through her fun topiary creations. Her clever images are clean, simple,
uncluttered and well designed. Michelle received and MFA in computer
graphic design from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1993. Her fine art
(watercolor sample shown here) has been shown in state and national exhibitions.
She works in watercolor, pastels and oils and her interests are represented by a
range of subject matter including: the study of complex natural forms,
landscapes, equine art, and of course, garden art.
Michelle considers herself to be a very tactile person and places a strong
emphasis on the "feel" of her products—the weight of
the stationery paper, the smooth finish of her framed prints and the texture of
the fabric which shows through the paint on her pillows. She finds richness in
the details and desires to translate that sense of quality in all that she
creates.

design. Who says a dog wouldn't enjoy a couch made from a topiary hedge?
Wouldn't it be bliss to stretch out on a sofa in the garden for the afternoon?
 Michelle has a sweetie named Olie
(shown here) who is a Golden Retriever-Black Lab Mix.
Since our first Golden was an Ollie as well (both dogs with the formal name of
Oliver, of course!), you can well imagine that our getting together was meant to
be.
This is definitely the place to find a sweet little birthday, holiday or thank-you gift.

kitchen, are 100% Natural Cotton canvas with a hand-printed topiary
design and related phrase written around it. Pockets in front of

and Cocktail Napkins (6" square) featuring a topiary design printed
in the center.

Prints ―
Artist signed and dated, with limited
edition of 500, these quality prints feature archival quality inks
and fine art paper.
- Pillows ―
Hand-printed 100% cotton pillows
(15" x 10" or 16" square) with trim features selected topiary design. The
pillows are artist printed, signed and dated.
- Lavender Sachets
―
Hemstitched 6" square 100%
linen sachets are filled with aromatic French lavender buds and
hand-printed with desired design. Embellished with organza bow and
packaged in cellophane to retain freshness.

Stationery

Printed in U.S. on acid
free, recycled archival cardstock, the papers are Lignin Free and
Certified Processed Chlorine Free and consist of at least 30% post
consumer fiber. Topiary designs are available in sets of 6
Notecards (same design) with matching envelopes wrapped and tied
with raffia. Greeting Cards, with adorable messages inside, are
printed on sandstone colored recycled paper paired with fall sky
blue envelopes.
