Entry #50: ESPN and his Madison "EPSN was our Velcro Golden, always by our side pushing his face into any body part he could reach just to touch us, any place, any time. Maddie was getting her picture taken on a beautiful sunny day and ESPN wanted to make sure he was in on the action too.

Only 7½-years-old, on October 8, 2007, he was taken from us suddenly and unexpectedly from hemangiosarcoma of the heart.  He crossed to the bridge way too young, but he is in our hearts forever. Cancer may have taken his body, but his soul lives on in our hearts and memories. ESPN was the joy of our household and the youngest fur baby. We are all grieving his big brown eyes and heart full of love. All dogs come into our lives for a reason and a season. They teach us so much about unconditional love and genuine admiration." You can see they are both just kicking back and enjoying the ride, while mom and dad do all the driving. Lucy decided after spending so much time in the car with Abby, that Abby was her long lost sister. A temporary foster situation turned into a forever home for Miss Abby.
