Prevent Booklet Exercises
As the toolkit's second foundation, the Prevent booklet contains 33 pages of exercises based on positive reinforcement that help prevent undesirable behaviors. Emphasizing day-to-day home life, these exercises effectively teach the puppy how to live happily in the human world. A take-along pocket guide accompanies the booklet.

Food Bowl and Hand Feeding: Teaches the puppy that guarding the food bowl is unnecessary and reinforces the owners'
      place as friends and providers.
Trade You: Prevents guarding behavior around objects such as bones, toys and garbage.
On and Off, In and Out: Conditions the puppy to get off furniture, hop in or out of the car, or enter and exit rooms quickly
      and happily when requested.
Jumping Up: Effectively teaches the puppy to sit and not jump up when greeting people.
Handling: Gets puppy comfortable with being handled and touched by a wide variety of people without reacting negatively.
