Leather Care — Leather beds need to be cleaned regularly as an accumulation of dirt and grease over a period of time is not only undesirable, but obviously the longer it is left, the more difficult it will be to remove. Regular cleaning can be done simply by using a damp cloth, taking care not to soak the leather as this could damage it. Modern leathers are not required to be “fed” and therefore the temptation to apply saddle soap or wax polishes should be avoided. DO NOT use spray polishes as these contain silicone, and after a period of time will produce a sticky surface.
