The Kenyan Collection comes from a collaboration among business people and
artisans showcasing the wonderful and diverse culture that is Kenya.
 In Africa, you have to watch over your shoulder for
wild animals while you fish--which adds an additional thrill to the sport! The
story is told in an insert inside the box for every adventurous angler to enjoy. These collections are original products designed for The Kenyan Collection.
They are such a great gift for the avid hard-to-shop-for fisherman or
fisherwoman.
The
banana box, made from banana tree fiber, the batik
bone adornment, and the flies inside are all handmade.
And, there is an entertaining story inside to top it all off. We simply love the
look of the top of these fishing boxes, shown here.
The pricing on these boxes is simply incredible given the fact that there is
actually $30 to $60 worth of flies in each.
There are 4 regional collections: East Coast, Midwest, West Coast, and Kenyan.
These correspond to hatch charts for each region. They each have 30
flies, two each of 15 patterns for fishing in Kenyan waters.
IMPORTANT NOTE: These
items ship directly from the distributor and arrive separately from
other ordered items at the Land of PureGold. It is recommended that if other
types of items are desired that the orders be placed
separately. The line is only available for shipment in the United States.
