Measuring for the Gold Paw Fleece Coat
Size of the coat refers to the length of your dog’s back.
Measure from the base of the neck to the beginning of the tail.
Girth refers to the measurement around the widest part of your dog’s chest (usually behind the front legs around ribcage).

Measure the circumference of your dog's chest by using a tailor's tape measure or if you don't have one, a piece of string or ribbon. Mark the measurement around the chest and then measure the string. Make sure you place the tape measure/string all the way around the chest (rib cage), behind the front legs.

It is important that your dog is standing up, as they get longer when they are sitting or lying down.
Is your dog between sizes? Move up or move down based by whether s/he's broad chested or narrow.

Gold Paw's Fleece Stretch Coat ― Prints
The Gold Paw Fleece you know and love: 100% polyester in bright fade-resistant prints. Prints are not quite as stretchy as the Solid Colors so if your dog is is on the border of sizes in the spandex-fleece, consider ordering one size up in the prints.

This snugwear is great for older or short-haired dogs, or those recovering from surgery or illness. The Cozy Coat is water resistant and provide excellent belly and chest coverage. A terrific coat for temperate climates or can be layered under a jacket. It is available in 15 sizes to cover every dog from Chihuahua puppies to Great Danes.

Additional Info on Wild Dogs Print ― This custom designed pattern attempts to echo the unusual beauty of these Painted Dogs. Flattering for all domestic dog colors, we rendered it in the thickest stretchiest fleece we've used to date. Then to make our Cozy Coat extra special, we bound the edges in chic black binding for added durability. Now your dog can reclaim his or her wild side and be a force for nature as one-dollar of each coat sold goes directly to conservation efforts via the World Wildlife Fund East African Wild Dog Project.
