Meet Golden Media Stars Molly and Ben
Meet My-Magical Lady Molly Jean and Harbor City's Been MisB ehaving Ben, stars of the movie, “Homeward Bound.” Five hundred dogs
actually auditioned, but Molly won the part of Shadow. Because of her age, Ben was chosen
to be her double, becoming the lead dog. Together they made up 90 to 95 percent of the
part of Shadow. Trained by Jeanne Messinger & Nancy Mulica through utility, they
needed little training on the set. Both therapy dogs, Ben was also the Delta Society's
1993 celebrity spokesdog!
 This picture shows the famous threesome involved in the movie Homeward
Bound, in which they made a treacherous journey over miles and miles of
dangerous land. You can read about these guys as well as other performing dogs in
