Meet Golden Media Star Logan
Logan is a Service
Dog-in-Training (2/07) who has her very own
page here at the Land of PureGold. So, do go over and find out about her mom
and the wonderful organization that is providing her training.
Last fall Logan had a modeling assignment for the newly published (12/06) book,
Top Dog Knits: 12 QuickKnit Fashions for Your Big Best Friend.
Her mom, Suzan, knew she was going to be inside the book but the cover came as a
pleasant surprise! She was told that the publisher wanted an engaging, friendly
looking dog and a colorful cover. Of course, there's nothing much friendlier
looking than a Golden!
I will let Suzan tell you how this special photo shoot all came to be:
"I had solicited some signed copies of Jil
Eaton's prior book of knitwear designs for small dogs for one of
My Wonderful
Dog's auctions. She later contacted me saying that she was doing a
book for big dogs and did I know of any potential service dog models? Of
course, you know who I immediately thought of!
Here are Logan's pages inside the book, they did a little quote and bio
for each dog. There was even a book release party. You'll be glad to
know that fame has not gone to Logan's head. She's still my sweet girl."
