Best Friend: Sydney, 3 year-old Yellow Labrador Retriever
December 29, 2002

My dog Sydney watches over me every night. She is very nice to me. I love her very much. She is my best dog friend.
I take good care of her. She is a good dog. She lays on my bed sometimes. If I am scared she snuggles up with me. The best thing about her is she acts like a guard for me.  She is the best dog ever!

CHELSEY, Age 12
Grade 6, Saint Paul Elementary School, Saint Paul, Virginia
Best Friend: Deacon, 1 year-5 month old Golden Retriever
December 14, 2002

Hi! My name is Chelsey and if it is okay with you I'm going to tell you about my best friend in the whole world. My dog, Deacon. Deacon and I have come a long way together. Well, to some people they probably don't think a year and three months is a lot, but just wait until you hear what happened to Deacon. It brought us a lot closer together.
One weekend, when Deacon was 5 months old, I went outside to play with Deacon and he threw up. I didn't think much about it. I thought he had just ate grass, anyway. the nest morning I went out side to check on Deacon. When I went outside I yelled for Deacon to come and eat. When he didn't come I figured he was just up in the mountains hunting like he always does. When he hadn't come after several hours to eat, my aunt and I went out looking for him. We never found him.
Later on during the day my mamaw went over to my great-great-grandmother's house. She found Deacon laying in a bush with throw up all around him. It looked horrible. I saw him laying their my eyes watered up with tears. My mom and I rushed him to the vet. We found out he had a very common but deadly puppy virus known as parvo. We were going to put him to sleep and for some reason, my mom said she would do anything to save him. You see before I got this Deacon, I had another Golden Retriever puppy. I got him two days before Christmas and he died two days after Christmas because the breeder we got him from bred the parents, knowing they were too old. So the puppy died from something from the brain. Anyway, getting back to Deacon's story, my mom spent over $800 on treatments and things for the virus. So about a week later, Deacon got out of the animal hospital and I realized how much I actually loved him and what I would have been like if I didn't have him. Deacon is now a very healthy 1 year and 3 month old Golden Retriever. You would be amazed how much one person can learn so much about how they feel with one dog, one week, and one person's feelings.

ELYSSE, Age 12
Grade 7, Ontario, Canada
Best Friend: Cagney, 5 year old Golden Retriever
October 31, 2002

My dog is my very best friend. He is the cutest and most affectionate friend I have ever had. He loves to play, get lots of attention (he loves it when you rub his belly or his ears), and have his red glow ball thrown for him. He his so funny and always makes me laugh. Cagney will do the silliest things that make me laugh so hard.
When I have had a hard day at school or I am just feeling down I tell Cagney everything. The best part is that he is he can keep a secret. One hug and I feel better than ever. A close bond between your best friend and you is the most important aspect of a true friendship. Cagney and I have a very close bond. I love him so much and he means the world to me.

LAURA, Age 14
Grade 8 Laura Rose Adams Middle School, Taswell, Indiana
Best Friend: Sunny, 1 year old Golden Retriever
October 31, 2002

My best friend is Sunny because he is such fun. He is a very smart dog he can count and do all the basics. He was in a talent show for counting. He loves to play tag and keep away.  He is such good company when I am down.
He is my best friend because I can tell him my secrets and he will not tell. He is just like a person only with fur and walks on all fours. He has a wonderful personality and he has the funniest expression and he also has serious expressions. I love my Sunny Boy.

STEPHANIE, Age 11
Grade 6 St. Michael the Archangel, Lyndhurst, New Jersey
Best Friend: Sandy, 9 year old Golden Retriever
October 11, 2002

Sandy is so good to me. She always guards me at night. When I want to play, she wants to play. If she thinks Sam is bothering me she'll block him out of the way. She is always by my side. If my aunt has somebody over her house and I'm playing Playstation, she'll stay and wait for me in the hallway. Even if she wants to go say "Hi" she won't because she thinks that something bad is going to happen to me.
If I sleep late and my aunt calls her down to eat or go out, she will not go until I get up and go with her. If she really needs to, she'll run, go to the bathroom and then race back upstairs to guard me. I think she is a very loyal girl and also my best friend.

MEGAN, Age 11
Grade 6, Pandora, Ohio
Best Friend: Buddy, 3 year old Golden Retriever
October 8, 2002

My best friend is my loving dog, Buddy. He is a Golden Retriever. He's so cute! Some friends of ours had found him and couldn't find the owner. So we said if they couldn't find the owner in a week, we would take him.
Sadly, they couldn't find the owner. So we said that we would take him. He was so skinny when we got him! But we feed him and now he's a big baby. He's a very good dog. He doesn't chew anything, he's gentle, and he is my best and only friend!

KAYLA, Age 10 3/4
Grade 5 Lincoln Titus Elementary, Cortlandt Manor, New York
Best Friend: Pudgy, 2 year old Pug
September 25, 2002

Pudgy is 2 years old, and one special thing we share is the same birthday, except that we were born in two different years. I got Pudgy when I was almost 9, now I'm almost 11. He gets along with our other dog, Lacey, 6 and she's a Labrador. Pudgy weighs a good 40 lbs. When I awake in the morning Pudgy always greets me with a jump up to my knee and when I fall back asleep on the couch he lays on my lap until my Mother wakes me up once again with a bowl of Apple Jacks.
When I get home from school, before I start my 5th grade load of homework, I sit on the floor and let him chase his favorite tennis ball, but Lacey gets jealous so we have to include her now. When I was done with homework, it's playtime once again, and he knows it. So I throw the ball AGAIN and then he starts to get tired so he jumps up on the brown couch and falls asleep until my stepdad, Richie comes home at 10:00 p.m. to go outside to go to the bathroom one last time until we wake up the next morning. His bed is in my Mom's room, right next to her bed. Lacey sleeps on the floor or her bed, and Pudgy sometimes sleeps next to her.

JESSICA, Age 12
Grade 7 Fios Academy, Osawatomie, Kansas
Best Friend: Nala, 8 year old Gray Tabby Cat
August 19, 2002

My first pet was a cat. I was only three years old when I got her from an animal shelter. As we drove home, my new kitten hissing angrily in her box, I couldn’t decide on a name, as I didn’t yet know if my cat was male or female. I finally decided to name her Peter Pan if she was a boy, or Tinkerbell if she was a girl.
When I found out that my cat was a girl, I forgot all about naming her Tinkerbell. At the time my favorite movie was the Lion King, and I watched as my kitten walked around with the grace of a lioness, and although playful, wisdom sparkled in her green eyes. I decided to name her Nala, after a lioness in the Lion King.
Nala is a gray tabby. She is silver with gray stripes. Her eyes are bright green, and her chest and underbelly are a sort of pale yellow-tan.
Nala and I grew up together. I still have her now. She’s fifty-six (in human years she’s eight). I’m twelve (in cat years that’s eighty-four).
Once when I was about five years old, I saw Nala laying down on the floor. I crawled down onto the floor and mimicked how she was laying. On her side, her legs on top of each other, making a sort of X shape. Her arms (or should I say legs??) were in a sort of X shape as well. Nala stared at me and I stared right back. Nala rolled over onto her back, her legs spread wide apart, her arms pulled down near her chest, like when an animal played dead on a cartoon. I did the same thing. Nala blinked and turned her head upside-down. I grinned and did the same, but not nearly as good as Nala.
That was when mom walked into the living room. She stared at us for a while, laughed, and took a picture. We still have that picture! Nala and I frequently play that game still. It always makes everyone laugh.
Nala is a very nice cat. She’s my best friend of all. She likes to snuggle, and to be petted. She’ll rub against me. Usually only me. I’ve only seen her beg for attention from my mom or dad or grandma when I’m away on a trip for more than a day. The only problem is when she decided to sleep with me…
Her favorite place to sleep now is on the couch, but sometimes she’ll sleep with me. And when she does, I have to be VERY CAREFUL!!! Nala likes to crawl onto my pillow and go to sleep there. And in the middle of the night she ALWAYS rolls over onto my head!
And I swear that Nala has some sort of magic power or something. She always knows if I’m sad, or angry, or stressed. She’ll come over to me and rub against me. I’ll pet her and she’ll look up at me, as if to say, “There’s nothing to be upset about. Just try to forget about it, and think about nice things.”
She also knows when I’m sick. Both of our cats do, but Nala seems to know that I’ll get sick BEFORE I get sick! She’ll beg for attention and a few days after I’ll get sick. Once I had pneumonia, and Nala walked up to my mattress (I was sleeping in the living room when I was sick). She blinked and then walked onto the mattress. She purred softly, rubbed against me and licked my nose. Her face read, “Don’t worry. I’m here, and you’ll feel much better soon.” Then she would stay with me till I fell asleep. Sometimes she would stay and sleep with me, but other times she would go and sleep on the couch, near me.
Nala is also rather proud. She doesn’t like to see other animals (other than us) in the house. She hates all other animals. She thinks that she owns us all. Me and my family joke that Nala thinks she is queen of the house…I think that she really does think that!
Nala is definitely the best friend anyone could ask for. I’m her girl, and she loves me more than she loves anyone or anything. And I love her just as much!

JESSICA, Age 11
Grade 5 Hickory Tree Elementary School, St. Cloud, Florida
Best Friend: Buttercup, 4 year old Golden Retriever
July 4, 2002

My dog is no mans best friend! She is womens best friend! Hi my name is Jessica and my dog is an inspiration to me. When I am feeling blue she brightens up my day and when my mom gets up to go to sleep buttercup is right there beside her. This is a spoiled dog! I mean it, try to guess where she sleeps at night? She sleeps on a real bed! Not one of those beds in Wal-Mart. I mean the real thing.
Tomorrow is her birthday, July 5, 2002 and we are all very happy. Last night my mom was playing on the internet, me and her were sitting in the living room. When all of a sudden we heard gun shouts we were both scared. Buttercup went running to my mom, it was cute.

LILY, Age 11
Grade 5 (entering 6th), Siwanoy Elementary School, Pelham, New York
Best Friend: Scout, 2 year old Golden Retriever
June 27, 2002

By dog Scout is my best friend ever. He is always there for me. When I am happy he is too, and when I am sad he is there to comfort me and let me rest on his shoulder. Sometimes he acts like a human.
One day my mom sister, brother and I had a group hug. Scout tried to work his way into the middle of it. He does that all the time now. Scout loves to walk to school. When he gets there he is greeted by many of his "Human Friends." He adores the attention.
We got Scout from a breeder in the Catskills. Before we had Scout we had a golden named Finn. Finn was very sweet but sadly went to the Rainbow Bridge one day at the age of 2 years. He had a heart attack. We missed having a dog so much that we had to have another golden. When we saw all the puppies we knew we had to have Scout. He chose us. Ever since he has been a great friend and a loving member of our family.
[You can visit Lily at her own web page HERE. As she is just getting started with this, be sure to leave her a message in her Guest Book!]

BRITTANY, Age 10
Grade 6, Bardstown Middle School, Bardstown, Kentucky
Best Friend: Faze & Zowie, 7 month old Labrador Retrievers
June 25, 2002

I think my dogs should receive the Best Friend Award because if it wasn't for me I don't think they would be alive today. Back in about October of last year I told my parents that I was interested in getting a puppy for Christmas. They told me I could if I was responsible enough. So I did a lot of research on dogs. Almost every Saturday I went to our public library to check out books on dogs. I checked out a book on almost every breed. At the end I decided I wanted a Lab. So I did a little more research but this time it was more on just Labrador Retrievers instead on every dog.
The months passed and my need for a dog died down. But once it was getting towards Christmas I was hoping I would get a dog but unfortunately I didn't. So I talked to my dad and asked him when will I be getting a dog. He said sometime next year. So I waited and waited. Finally February came, the time that I would be receiving a dog.
One day on a Wednesday my dad told me that after school he'd take me down to the Humane Society so that I could go look at the dogs. I was so excited that I could hardly sit through the subjects at school. I told nearly everyone in class. Finally at 3:05 the bell rung. I was the first person out of the classroom. I got to my dad's car and we were on our way. When we arrived I was nervous and excited at the same time, I didn't know what to think. We went inside and looked around. There were about nine dogs inside probably because they had already had all their shots. I looked around and saw two dogs I liked. They were about 7 weeks old and very friendly. Right when I came up to them they started to lick my hands.
After that I went back to the front desk and asked the lady about them. She said they were very friendly. She also mentioned that they had more dogs behind the Humane Society outside. So I went out for a look. Most of the dogs were older and hadn't had their shots yet. But I saw a whole litter of puppies and guess what they were Labs. I was so excited! They were all black except for two chocolate ones. When we came near them they are started jumping on the fence and wagging their tails. My dad asked me which one I wanted I said I want the chocolate one with the white spot. The employee said I could get them tomorrow at 6:00pm.
The next day when we went over there again my 16 year old brother was with me this time and when he saw the puppies he said he wanted one too. He said he wanted the other chocolate one that didn't have a spot. So the employee gave us the dogs. This time I was really excited! I couldn't believe that I was actually getting two of them! I also felt sad for the other puppies because they wouldn't be going home with us. But I was still very happy and couldn't wait until I showed them to my mom.
The day after the next day I got bad news that the employee had put the rest of the puppies to sleep. I cried and cried and cried. I couldn't get over the fact that if it had been one day later I wouldn't have such wonderful puppies. Today my dogs love to sleep, play, and chew on their toys. And that's why I think my dogs should receive the Best Friend Award.

IVEY, Age 10
Grade 4, Bethasda Elementary School, Fayettesville, Arkansas
Best Friend: Belle, 1½ year old Golden Retriever
June 23, 2002

Belle. She is my dog of course. My one and only true friend. I wake up every morning and see Belle standing be side my bed. So I will get up and give her lots of love. Belle means the world to me. So I decided I to write a book on her and the neat thing is I published the book.
I love to play in my backyard with Belle, she loves it when I throw the ball for her and she runs as fast as she can to get it. Belle is a very talented dog, she's more like a human actually. She eats table scraps from my fork and drinks out of my water glass. She loves for her tummy to be rubbed except I don't like to rub it because my hand gets tired. My dog is very special and I love her lots.

BRIANNA, Age 10
Grade 4, Bachelder School, North Reading, Massachusetts
Best Friend: Buddy, 1 year old Golden Retriever
June 5, 2002

My dog is a Golden. He is my best friend in the world! I treat him with a lot a love each day. He is the best at sports and he is playful he does not chase my cat and does not bite anyone!! He knows how to ring the doorbell and close the door. He knows not to get at the trash too.
Some of his best tricks surprise me. He likes to chase small mammels [like birds and ducks]. He is good with my aunts and uncles too. My Golden is the best dog I ever had!

ANGELICA, Age 10
Grade 4, Dixie Canyon Elementary, Los Angeles, California
Best Friend: Checker, 4 year old Beagle/Bloodhound
May 5, 2002

Checker is the best dog any kid can have! He's a beagle mixed with blood hound. Checker is very cuddly and sweet! He has lots of brown and black fur, but he has white little reindeer paws! His best friend is our cat, Indy. They love to play together.
My dog's name is Checker because checkers are suppose to jump high around the board. The key word is HIGH! Checker jumps very high for a dog. He is very funny too! He loves to chase squirrels, skunks and many other types of animals.
When Checker sees a squirrel outside he'll start to scratch our backyard door and his lower part of his lip pops right up! It's very funny and also cute! Checker has a different way of running then other dogs, he kind of skips around like a little bunny!
He is very special to me for many different reasons. He's very protective about our family, he is a great friend to Indy, he loves us all, but most of all he cheers me up when I am sad. He'll hop onto the couch right beside me and he'll beg for me to pet him, and if I don't pet him he'll whine like a little baby and that makes me laugh. Checker is like a little brother to me. I only have older siblings and he's the best little brother to me!
His favorite game is either hide and seek, which he plays with Indy or tugg awar. Everyday after school I'll play tugg awar with him. I feed him and take him for walks. I also sometimes have to clean after him.
We found Checker while he was squirming around the streets. He looked lonely and he needed someone's help, and that someone was us (our whole family). When we pulled over he looked at us and then ran straight to us. He knew that we were the right caring family for him. After, we took him to the vet, he got all his shots and he was ready to see his new home. We got Checker on June 22, 1998. To have a pet you must be very responsible for it.
That is why Checker is now clean, healthy and has a great home. I am so glad I have Checker my little brother.

MOLLY, Age 9
Grade 4, Dixie Canyon Elementary, Los Angeles, California
Best Friend: Leo, 1 year old Bichon Frise
April 24, 2002

Leo is the best dog any kid could have. Leo was named after our old dog who died of pneumonia at age one, and we all love him so much.
Leo is a very small dog. He is white, fluffy, and so adorable he can make anyone smile.
Leo does so many funny things. Every morning, after my mom (or dad) takes him out to go to the bathroom, they praise him and reward him with a treat. Next, he jumps on the bed, and digs in the sheets, like he's making a hole. Then, he puts the treat in the "hole" and waits a while. Finally, he takes it, jumps off the bed, and eats it. We call it the burial. He buries his treats, and his bones. Normally, he buries it right on our pillow, so we have to move it. But Leo gets very mad if we move the treat from it's original spot.
Leo has always been a great friend to me. Whenever I am sad, Leo is always there. Although his ears may be to short to dry my tears on, it still feels good to have someone to hug.
Leo loves attention. Oh yes. Whenever we come home from school, he jumps up and down, and licks us all to death. It is funny how every evening, you can find him lying on the chair resting, after running around and jumping so much.
Leo also loves to play. It seems all day he wants to play. We get tired hours before he gives up. He loves to play fetch, and his favorite toy is his pink monkey. It has long arms that are good for tug-o-war. Whenever we throw a ball, or in this case, a monkey, he always brings it back. The only problem is, when you try to get it, he won't let you have it.
Leo loves human food. It is a special treat for him when my dad puts some leftover chicken-apple sausage from dinner. He gulps it all up, and sometimes that's how we get him to eat. He also loves chocolate. Chocolate is poison for dogs, so my mom is very strict about keeping anything chocolate out of his reach. Leo loves just about everything. From pencils to chocolate, from sausage to olives! Leo loves pretty much mostly all the things he knows he can't have.
Another lesson we've learned from having Leo around is never leave your food out. When you just go to the bathroom, and accidentally leave out your hot chocolate, when you come back, it's all gone, and you find Leo sitting on the chair licking out of your mug. One time, my dad accidentally left his entire dinner on the table, and when he came back, he found Leo and an empty plate in front of him.
Leo is so cute. He acts like he has a duty to protect us. Whenever he hears a sound, he starts a barking rage, and he sounds almost like he's saying, "You better not come through this fence! My duty is to protect my family!" He especially barks at the neighbor's dogs. It can get annoying. But sometimes if my dad whistles, he will come.
Aside all that, Leo is just a great dog. He loves us, and he always seems to say, "This is my house. I'm just letting you live in it!"
Leo, this is my way of saying, "I love you!"

KALEIGH, Age 12
Grade 7, Father Boareguard School in Fort McMurray, Alberta
Best Friend: Jessie, 1 year old Golden Retriever
April 3, 2002

My dog Jessie is my best friend because: when I did not have her in fifth grade, every one teased and picked on me, and I would do anything for my friends even if they were teasing me. But when I got Jessie I felt confident in myself and stood up for myself around my friends.
Now that Jessie is one year I feel like I have a full time best friend, not one that uses me to look cool. Now I am in 7th grade and have learned to choose my friends wisely, and I owe it all to my best friend (Jessie). Now I have lots of good friends!

KARYN, Age 11
Grade 6, Brentwood Elementary School in Spokane, Washington
Best Friend: Mudge, 1½ year old Golden Retriever
March 13, 2002

My best friend is my dog, Mudge. Whenever I feel lonely or depressed he is always trying to make me feel better. Mudge and I come as an item. We are inseperatable. Sometimes I get mad at him but I will always love him.
If I didn't have Mudge in my life I would probably be lost. What would I do after school? Probably just sit around and not do anything. With Mudge I can do almost anything!! Today, I hope I have convinced you why Mudge is my BEST FRIEND!!

BRITTANY, Age 10
Grade 4, Memorial Baptist Christian School in Kenner, Louisiana
Best Friend: Sassafras, 8 year old Golden Retriever
March 1, 2002

Sassy follows me everywhere. She used to sleep in my bed, but now she sleeps on the floor in my room. She puts up with my Yorky, Bit, and my cat, Missy. Sassy protects all of us. Our birthday is on the same day, so I guess that makes us close. I love my dog. She's the best, better than the rest.
We do tricks! I can shake her foot and she puts her paws on my shoulder. That's my Golden! I LOVE HER SOOOO MUCH!

HANNAH, Age 9
Grade 4, Doss Home School in Fairview, Texas
Best Friend: Ringo, 6 year old Shetland Sheepdog
February 19, 2002

My best friend is a dog, but not just any dog . . . he is the best in the world! I love Ringo so much, and I would give up a lot to keep him if I had to. I could not imagine life without my Shetland sheepdog who I love so much. He is a piece of my heart. If somebody tried to take him away, it would break my heart.
Ringo is 6 years old but he plays like a puppy. When we take a walk, he stays right by my side. He barks like he is tough, but he is really sweet. Ringo may not be the smartest or strongest but he is the BEST!

BREANNA, Age 11
Grade 6, St. Maria Goretti School in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada
Best Friend: Molly Bear, 1½ year old Golden Retriever
January 28, 2002

Well, I got my Golden on September 5th 2000, and she was born July 10th. She is very friendly and she's my best friend in the whole wide world.
When I went to the breeder's house I just knew she was the one. And I was right. Molly would never let me down and I love her sooooooooooooo much. She's just a polite creature, and anyone would love to have a Golden! There has to be at least one thing a person has to like about a Golden!
So that's why I love my dog because I know she'll be there always, forever by my side.

ELLEN, Age 10
Grade 7, Stewarts Melville Junior School in Gifford, East Lothian Scotland
Best Friend: Cassie, 4 year old Golden Retriever
January 26, 2002

Hi my name is Ellen and our dog's name is Cassie. We chose this name because we think that it is a lovely and suitable name for our dog.
Cassie usually does 'dog agility' and 'dog obedience' once every week for an hour but she isn't at the moment because she is in season and we've just had her mated! We are hoping for pups cuz last time she was mated she didn't become pregnant so that was a big disappointment for the whole family.
Cassie goes to agility competitions and she has won: first for agility, second for starters jumping and another first for pairs jumping!
Cassie goes on walks every day with me and my dad, we go to the woods just behind our house and Cassie has a great time, She has so much fun that she gets REALLY muddy so we have to go and let her have a swim in the river next to the park!

AUBREE, Age 7
Grade 2, Arroyro Verde Elementary School, Highland, California
Best Friend: Buddi, 1 year old Golden Retriever
January 21, 2002

My Buddi came to our family on November 28, 2001. While I was at school my mommy went to a shelter and rescued him. When I was walking home from school I saw my mommy behind a bush, she was hiding Buddi! I came up to her and asked her "Whose dog is this?" I couldn't believe it when my mommy said "He is ours!" I felt happy and excited that I had my new puppy.
I take Buddi for walks on his leash. He is very good and never tugs or tries to get away. If I could I would walk him without a leash, but mommy says I need to have one!
Buddi wakes me up every morning by licking my face and whimpers until I wake up! Even on the mornings I don't want to wake up early, he does it anyway. That is okay, because seeing his face first thing in the morning makes my day!
I can no longer wait to get home from school so I can see my Buddi and play with him. That is if I can get him away from my mommy!
Buddi has been a blessing to our family and has been the missing link. Now our family is complete and we all have a new "Buddi". I make sure that I thank G-d every night in my prayers for him.

ASHLEIGH, Age 11
Grade 5, Vineyard Public School, Wilberforce, N. S. W. Australia
Best Friend: Haylee, 10 month old Golden Retriever
January 7, 2002

My dog Haylee is my Best Friend. She is almost 20kg. I love her very much.
Haylee is a Golden Retriever with attitude! What I mean is she loves me and my family and she loves to run, chase birds and Haylee loves to play in water.
She has learnt to sit, stay and lay down. When I go outside and get out the soccer ball Haylee follows me everywhere. And this is good because when I am bored I can have a game of soccer with Haylee because she runs after the ball and pushes it all over the place. Once when we played soccer Haylee won!
I love my Golden Retriever Haylee. She is my Best Friend!

ELANA, Age 12
Grade 6, WK Doyle Middle School, Troy, New York
Best Friend: Jasmine, 2 year old English Mastiff
January 5, 2002

My Pal

My best pal is an unusual dog. I love her in each and every way.  She is an English Mastiff and weighs 114 pounds (very underweight). She should be about 130 lbs. It doesn't matter what she is supposed to be like. What matters is she is my best buddy. She comforts me when I'm hurt. She protects me when I am in danger. She's my baby! She is special in each and every way!
My buddy can be mean and nice. She is very playful and plays with my cats. She treats the cats as if they were her own babies. She is special to me because I would have never known about English Mastiffs if my parents didn't take me to a local Dog Show in the area. She came from a rescue out of Pennsylvania. She isn't that heavy but really tall! I love her every day, every night, every hour, every day, every year! Jasmine I love you in each and every way!
